The Westlake beef soup at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and I can't get enough of the honey walnut prawns and fried rice either. I remember the first time I dined here was back in the beginning of the year with my boyfriend. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made our experience even more enjoyable.

The Chinese restaurant I visited was your run-of-the-mill, not exceptional Chinese dining spot. The service was top-notch, with quick service that didn't leave me waiting long for my food. The dishes, while not amazing, were about average in terms of taste and quality.

Our family has been frequenting this neighborhood gem for over 35 years, despite changing hands a couple of times. The food has always been consistently delicious. Recently, we heard that the restaurant was vandalized for the second time, and we felt compelled to show our support for the dedicated husband and wife team. On our most recent visit, we sat down at a table for five and started our meal with some comforting West Lake soup. We then indulged in a steamed salted fish pork patty and a savory braised pork belly with pickled veggies. These dishes were packed with incredible flavors that had us reaching for extra helpings of steamed rice. We couldn't resist ordering half a steamed chicken with a side of that delectable garlic and ginger sauce, along with a plate of tender stir-fried pea sprouts. The meal ended on a sweet note with complimentary sliced oranges. The bill came out to a little over $100, which was well worth it considering the generous portions and the promise of leftovers for the next day. It's no surprise that during lunchtime, the restaurant is always bustling with Chinese contractors enjoying their meals. We used to stick to the set menus, but now we like to mix things up by ordering off the regular menu. Despite the recent racist attacks, we hope that this restaurant will continue to thrive and serve the community for many years to come.

I recently discovered a hidden gem on Geary Street that serves up the most delicious Chinese cuisine in the area. The pork dish I tried was absolutely amazing, and the fried squid was also a standout. What really set this place apart for me, though, was their famous chili sauces - they added the perfect kick to every bite. The service at this restaurant was top-notch, and the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend stopping by and trying out their incredible dishes for yourself - you won't be disappointed!

My family and I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Chinatown, and it has now become our favorite go-to restaurant. The interior decor is simple yet charming, giving off that traditional Chinese restaurant vibe that we love. Despite the bustling crowds, we always manage to find seating without too much trouble. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, but our go-to favorites are the mouthwatering Peking duck, savory walnut shrimp, and fresh choy sum. We also make sure to check out the specials for something new to try every time we visit. With prices starting at $40, we always leave with leftovers for the next day. The only downside we've encountered is the parking situation, which can be a bit of a headache. However, the incredible food and warm atmosphere make it all worth it in the end. Trust me when I say, this place is definitely worth a visit for an authentic and satisfying dining experience.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem serving up some seriously tasty home-cooked meals. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of mouth-watering dishes that are all steamed to perfection. Despite its unassuming appearance, every bite I had was bursting with flavor.

My friends and I absolutely love dining at this hidden gem for authentic Cantonese cuisine. The owner, Winnie, truly goes above and beyond for her guests. I've witnessed her personally delivering orders to customers and even assisting a friend in feeding her elderly parent when the restaurant was technically closed. The dishes here never fail to impress, always leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. I highly recommend showing your support for this wonderful local establishment.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is hit or miss. In some instances, the dishes are fresh and expertly made, while in others, they are stale and poorly prepared. We recently ordered Lemon Chicken for takeout and were extremely disappointed. The chicken was so tough and overcooked that it was practically inedible. It seemed to have been deep-fried in a stale batter and drowned in a sickly sweet sauce that just didn't hit the mark. The same unfortunate fate awaited our chicken chow mein, with old, tough pieces of chicken swimming in oil-soaked noodles alongside limp, past-their-prime green onions. Needless to say, both dishes ended up in the trash. However, it's worth noting that on a previous visit a few weeks ago, we had a completely different experience. The chicken chow mein we ordered was a delightful blend of tender chicken, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh, crisp veggies. It was a far cry from the disappointing meal we had on our last visit. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in quality, especially during what one would think is a busy time like Sunday brunch, has left us hesitant to return. It's a shame, as when they get it right, the food is truly delicious.
